Round Two of the IDM German championship season was held at the Belgium-based circuit named ‘Zolder’. Being early in the season, the poor weather we experienced was definitely to be expected.

As a whole, despite the lack of championship points in the second race, the Suzuki Mayer team and I made significant progress in Round 1 of the German IDM Championship season. During the pre-season, we made large steps forward in the Dunlop testing days, as well as the official IDM tests. Recently, the Suzuki Mayer Germany racing team and I completed our first test outing in Albacete and Valencia. Each session were official Dunlop organised tests. These sessions gave me the ability to further my knowledge of the Suzuki bike, as well as the Dunlop tyre. Unfortunately, the weather played havoc with our preparation in Albacete.
